We are excited to present “Triple Step,” the Hot Toddies Jazz Band’s third album release. Dedicated to swing dancers and jazz lovers, this album is the culmination of the band’s growth in the two years since completing our debut full length album. In that time, we commenced our popular NYC residency at Somewhere Nowhere, building an exuberant weekly soirée with a multitude of incredible musicians and performers. A hard-swinging chemistry and spirited repertoire developed between our core group of musicians. We decided to document it here, capturing the energy and spontaneity the band exudes when performing live. We hope this music gives you as much joy as it has given us to create. Heart felt thanks to our friends, family, and fans for helping us along the way!

Our first full length album, with some of our favorite musicians, and the culmination of four years of work! It started in early 2019 with recording sessions not long after the band was formed, but then interrupted by the pandemic. This difficult time became part of our journey, creating and releasing our “Quarantine Tracks” EP in 2021. As the world opened up, we got back to work on this album, with a clearer identity and desire to reconnect with dancers and music lovers. We hope this music gives you as much joy as it was to create. We call these recordings our QUARANTINE TRACKS since they were created throughout the pandemic. Eager to make music, in July 2020 we chose a selection of tunes, each musician recorded & videoed themselves at home, and then mixed & edited by Patrick. We created nine tracks, all w/videos, but chose six tracks for this, our first EP... so swing-out, dunk a bagel, and enjoy your Five O’clock Coffee!

This 9th and final episode of the band's Quarantine Track series starts out at a boring office job, but ends up at speakeasy dance parties at Mona’s and The Backroom, complete with puppet swing-outs and a puppet rave!

DUNKIN BAGEL" is the wonderful wacky Slim Gaillard tune and 8th episode of the band's Quarantine Track series. This song was first heard in the obscure jazz film "O'Voutie O'Rooney" from 1946 with the Slim Gaillard Trio playing at a Hollywood nightclub.

For these “Quarantine Tracks,”each member of the band recorded & videoed themselves separately in June 2020. These recordings and video debuted on June 27, 2020 during the QUARANTINE SPEAKEASY livestream by Prohibition Productions... it went so well the band decided to release them as singles every three weeks! The music was mixed & video edited by Patrick Soluri / Prohibition Productions.
